Build the story. Hear the adventure.
TaleTiles is an audio-first storytelling experience where kids build their own adventures with physical tiles and hear a unique story come to life.
We're inviting a small group of early families to help shape the beta.
Accepted beta families who actively participate will receive a free limited-edition Founding Families Pack when TaleTiles officially launches.

More creative than passive audio. More magical than another screen.
Your child is the author. TaleTiles gives kids real agency over the story — they choose the characters, the setting, the mood. The adventure reflects the choices they made with their hands.
Quiet time that actually feels creative. There's no passive watching. No scrolling. Just a child arranging tiles, listening closely, and imagining what comes next.
Play that teaches cause and effect. When kids see that their tile choices change the story, they start experimenting. That's sequencing, decision-making, and narrative thinking — through play.
A note from me, parent to parent
I started building TaleTiles because I care deeply about storytelling and what it does for a child's imagination. I wanted something more hands-on than passive audio, where my kids were actually making choices, not just listening, and less absorbing than a screen.
What I kept coming back to was the idea of a story that starts in your child's hands. They arrange the tiles. They shape the adventure. Then they get to hear it!
I know I'm asking something real by inviting families into an early beta, especially around a meaningful part of the day. TaleTiles isn't finished. There will be rough edges. But I'm committed to staying in close communication, responding to feedback quickly, and improving the experience with every family who joins.
If that sounds like something you'd want to be part of, I'd love to hear from you.
— Cole, founder of TaleTiles
Help shape the future of imaginative storytelling
We're looking for a small group of early families who believe storytime can be more creative, more participatory, and more magical.
What beta families get
Early access to TaleTiles — you'll be among the first families to experience the product before it's publicly available.
Direct communication with the founder — I'll be personally reachable throughout the beta. You won't be talking to a support queue.
A real say in the product — your feedback will directly shape what TaleTiles becomes before launch.
A free limited-edition Founding Families Pack at launch — accepted beta families who actively participate will receive this as a thank-you when TaleTiles officially launches.
What we're asking from beta families
We're looking for thoughtful families who are genuinely excited to:
- Try an early product and engage with it regularly
- Share honest feedback — what works, what doesn't, what's missing
- Be patient with some rough edges as we improve the experience
This isn't a polished consumer product yet. We're asking for your trust, and we take that seriously.
Patent-pending storytelling system
Questions?
What do beta families actually receive?
- A set of 24 wooden TaleTiles across 3 story themes
- The Hearth, our wooden 3x3 tile holder
- Free access to the TaleTiles companion app during beta for generating and listening to stories
- An invitation to receive the dedicated TaleTiles Wi-Fi speaker once it is ready for beta testing
What kind of feedback are you looking for?
We want to know what works and what doesn't — honestly. How does your child respond to the experience? What's confusing or frustrating? What would make it better? We're not looking for polished reviews. We're looking for real observations from real families.
What stage is the product in?
TaleTiles is in active beta development. The core experience — building with tiles, scanning with the app, and hearing a generated audio story — is functional. But it's early. There will be rough edges, and we're actively improving the product with feedback from beta families.
Is it truly screen-free?
Not entirely — and we want to be upfront about that. Parents use the TaleTiles app to scan the tile setup and start the experience. But the child's experience is designed to be audio-first and centered on the physical tiles. Once the story begins, the phone can be set aside.
Who is TaleTiles for?
TaleTiles is designed for children ages 3–10 who enjoy imaginative play, stories, and hands-on activities. It's a good fit for families who want something more participatory than passive audio and more focused than a screen.
